Barolo & Barbaresco seminars

Dedicated to true wine lovers but also to wine professionals, this is a unique opportunity to go beyond the sole content of a bottle and learn much more about the complexity of the Langhe area and its great wines. The idea is very simple: the more people are educated, the better wines they drink, regardless the prestige of the label. Also, our aim is to spread and share our knowledge so that to promote and communicate the whole Barolo and Barbaresco wine regions.

But what is a master class? It is a lesson, a seminar given by an expert about a specific subject. Thanks to Davide Pasquero and his deep knowledge, true wine lovers and wine professionals have the exclusive possibility to explore the Barolo's and Barbaresco’s world through a workshop and a wine tasting in order to become more educated to these two Italian fine wines. Although the growing interest around them, Davide has realized and experienced that a lot of people, even wine professionals, need to be more educated about these two great Italian wines.

The master class encompasses history, terroir, Nebbiolo grape, viticulture, winemaking and aging, vineyards classification, soil differences, food pairings etc. It can be built around your needs and also considering your level of familiarity concerning Barolo and Barbaresco. There is not a minimum number of participants but, overall, the aim is to create a more intimate and personalized experience.

WINE LOVERS

For wine enthusiasts and wine collectors who started drinking and collecting more Barolo and Barbaresco just recently, we can help them to understand much more about the complexity and diversity of these wines. Often, most wine lovers and wine collectors have been used to drink other sought-after red wines from Bordeaux and Burgundy, or perhaps also the best Rhone Valley or California reds some times.

Approaching wines like Barolo and Barbaresco may be very complicated because Nebbiolo based wines are completely different from the above-mentioned ones as well as unique in terms of taste and characteristics. Having someone who allows you to learn and become more educated about them can make a difference: know what you drink definitely lets you have better experiences with Barolo and Barbaresco but you also develop your taste, appreciate and understand what you like the most in a faster way.

WINE PROFESSIONALS

For any wine professional, know better a wine or a specific region is essential to make a difference when introducing it to clients and, as a consequence, increase the sales. Due to the fact that Barolo and Barbaresco have been considered amongst the world’s finest wines not for so long, new and emerging markets need more education than those mature markets where they have been known for a longer time.
