The three times World Champion is back

It looks like Peter Sagan enjoyed the day with me last year and he came back to the Langhe with his wife and a couple friends this year. On Saturday 8th October 2017, Peter Sagan, recent winner of the UCI Road World Championship for the third time in a row two weeks earlier in Bergen (Norway), came back to Piemonte for a relaxing day of great food and wine.

RAPHA PRESTIGE LANGHE

On Saturday 9th September 2017, the Langhe area of Piedmont hosted the first Rapha Prestige ever in Italy. Terroir Selection, being based in this stunning corner of Piedmont, worked closely with the Italian staff of Rapha in order to create the best possible event. The Rapha Prestige is not a race but it’s an unsupported, unsanctioned, and un-marshaled one-day ride across stunning terrain. The rules are simple: the course is tough, the four team members must start, ride and finish together.

A day with the two times World Champion

On Friday 2nd December 2016, I had the pleasure to host Peter Sagan, the two-time UCI Road World Champion, in the Langhe area. Being a deep cycling enthusiast, besides a fine wine lover, it was huge emotion and I felt so lucky to have this possibility to spend a full day with the greatest talent in cycling.

"Le Strade di Bike" - Langhe and Roero

On September 22nd and 23rd 2016, we had the pleasure to work with Bike Channel, the first Italian TV channel fully dedicated to cyclists, and show them the Langhe and Roero areas of Piedmont. One of their TV programs, called “Le strade di Bike”, shows and advertises the most gorgeous cycling routes of Italy: amongst more or less famous roads, stunning landscapes, old hamlets, etc. bike lovers can discover several secrets of the best cycling destinations in Italy and, obviously, Langhe and Roero can’t not be included amongst those fantastic locations.
